Service Line Replacement

In August of 2005 the Utilities crew completed identification of substandard services in our water service area identifying water lines that need to be replaced. Here is a copy of the letter sent to owners of the identified services
and a link to the address list.

Dear LOCSD Water Customer;

The Utilities Department thanks you for your cooperation with the water meter box maintenance program for the purpose of identifying substandard service lines within our service area. This work is being conducted as part of a capital improvements project funded with a low interest loan by the California Infrastructure and Economic Development Bank (I-Bank).

Please be advised that we have completed identifying all the water lines located between the main line and the water meter. It is noted that the service line providing water to your meter is substandard. This water line is scheduled to be replaced within the next year.

You will be notified by door hanger within a minimum of 72 hours prior to this work being conducted. There should be no inconvenience to you during this repair.
