Water Master Plan
The District’s
water supply consistently meets all State and Federal primary and
secondary drinking water standards.
However, water distribution system sampling indicated one
exceedence of the copper standard.
The District has implemented corrosion control measures at each
well head, by introduction of ortho-phosphate into the distribution
system. Continued
monitoring will be required to determine the effectiveness of this
treatment technique.
With groundwater as
the District’s sole source of water, the District will need to implement
sampling/monitoring for trihalomethanes (THMs) and haloacetic acids (HAAs)
beginning in January 2004.
